We have been finishing all the projects that were chosen by the B2R team in the last meeting. Some of these made us struggle to get tangible solutions that are apropriated for our client equipment and business.
Prototyping is the best way to test our ideas. Make them touchable help us understand the flaws and then correct them.
Some projects solutions are easier to solve, some requires more time and effort but we are willing to finish all them in a short term.
The power of motivation
Today, monday, we went once again to B2R. The presentation that we made to Paulo, was this time presented to the entire team of B2R.
It was nice to receive positive feedback of our work in these last few months and feel that the team is motivated to advance in the implementation of the projects proposed by Cemique.
The ideas were discussed by all and will move quickly. We will follow the whole implementation process of the first ideas and hope for the second wave, which will include the implementation of other proposals.
B2R’s potential is undeniable, and together we will achieve our goals.
Let’s keep motivated and work hard!
Triggering ideas
After presenting our product proposals to Tebar and Paulo, these were shown to the rest of the team. We have moved forward with two of the presented ideas , which are the most rapidly actionable. We worked further on practical implementation of these ideas and formulated a new presentation that we presented to Paul on Friday.
We were very satisfied with his reaction, once again, he welcomed positively our ideas. Now we hope that next monday, the rest of the team will be also pleased with our proposals .
It will be the official yes!
Presentation Day
Last friday was an important day for Cemique. We went to B2R to have a meeting with Tebar and Paulo to present the work that we have been doing in the last months.
We have presented some proposals for the repositioning of some company’s products as well as new products and ways of communication with customers. This will be a new beginning for Cemique, now that we moved from ideation to action.
With the collaboration of Paulo, Tebar and Bernardo we will turn these proposals into real products. We are eager to start working!
Synthesize and organize. The day before our presentation
In the last few days, we’ve been preparing our presentation for tomorrow at B2R.
It was a hardworking week, we gathered and synthesized all the information of the past few months.
We created the identity for our project, “Cemique” now has a new image!
We are ready and willing to present our ideas tomorrow!
Litter, scissors, paper and time timer on the table! Our Prototyping day!
Finally the walls are full of ideas!
We have been in brainstorming mode. After we filled the walls with ideas, we divided them by category, the ones dirceted to the market sectors and ideas more targeted to the final consumer. We also found in this division, ideas that could be adapted to the two market categories.
We looked to all the ideas we had, and voted individually on those we thought had more potential.
Next step: market research and prototyping.
The day we’ve been waiting/working for!
After mapping all the information collected on the last visit to B2R, we started to answer some questions about the competitors, the market, people, materials, machines and the offer of B2R.
From this information we tried to figure out which product and segments would better adapt to the offer of B2R, and what new segments could be explored. Then we did some brainstorming with different themes: material, product, segment, and waste. This was our starting point for ideation.
Materials, Machines and Production
This time, our visit to B2R, aimed to get to understand the functioning of the machines, the different types of materials and production processes.
With the help of Paulo and Bernardo, we spent the day collecting small samples of all the materials which B2R works, trying to understand their characteristics and usability.
It was extremely important to understand how the machines work, which are their limitations and qualities.
We also learned in which sectors they use more of one type of material, and where there is more waste.
Basically, we tried to understand how things are made since the project arrives to B2R until it is in the hand of the customer, paying attention to all the details, from production to finishings.
We noticed that there’s no lack of creativity at B2R. They are always searching for new solutions in the production process.
Field research
Today we went to B2R to have our 3rd meeting with Paulo. Our purpose was to show them what we have gathered in our field research.
We tried to understand how this business works from the agency perspective, what is their selection criteria relatively to the printing companies, how is the relationship between them, which is the processes of assembly and disassembly of advertising campaigns and how the equipment used is stored.
We talked with direct customers of B2R to understand how they made contact with the company and their level of satisfaction.
We also mapped all the information related with the main competitors of B2R in order to understand the differentiating factors of each.
The meeting went very well today, we are aligned with Paulo’s ideas and now we defined some goals to this project.
